I don't know what you mean "pursuing this". Are you suggesting bringing legal action because you waited until the very last minute to book the free night award and there was a problem? If you have a million award points, you likely know that Bonvoy has IT problems, and you didn't suffer much by tapping into that balance. If you have spent two months trying to get a resolution and failed, it seems unlikely you will get a satisfactory one. I'm not sure why you think they'll close your account unless you are being abusive.
