A 4 times weekly service would be a nonsense for BMI as the round trip is achieved inside 24 hours (it's like a transatlantic run) and there's nothing else for the A330 (the only BMI aircraft capable of doing the trip) to do on the other 3 days at either Heathrow or Mumbai. So a waste of an expensive aircraft.

Interesting nothing on the BMI website about it yet. Presume they're thinking what to do about it.
