Thanks for the answers. Ended up booking Korean Air flights with Delta. Also, doing IAD-ICN-HKT instead of BKK, which gives us 1 hour and 10 minutes for transfer. Flying back BKK-ICN-IAD with plenty of time to catch connection. I was also able to select seats free of charge for all 4 segments.

As a nugget of information. I've searched for those flights on google flights, saw the price etc. Below it was showing where to book to get that price. I saw that Delta's site was giving the same amount. Long story short. I went to Delta's site in a new tab, searched for my flights and the price was $600 more for two people than the price showing on google flights.
Went back to google flights, searched for the flights and clicked Book with Delta link. It took me to Delta's site with the normal price, $600 less what the direct DL search gave me.
That is really f-up. Simple conclusion, don't go to Delta's website to search for a flight...
