Hi! Had a (redemption) flight cancelled and accepted the recommended alternative flight in MMB but instantly regretted the choice as would have preferred going out the day before.
Do you think if I give BA a call they’d understand and accommodate a change? Or will they simply apply the logic that I’ve already accepted the new flight so any further changes would be subject to standard T&C’s (I.e. reward availability).
Have tried calling BA but they’re now closed for the evening.

They won't change it I'm afraid. I did exactly the same thing a few days ago, called them within 12hrs, trying to change onto a flight 2hrs earlier than the one I picked. Even after checking with a supervisor the answer was no.
