Hello folks. I know there is a dedicated thread (Transferring/Transit at Istanbul (IST) airport) but I have not found any useful or most current info on the subject. We (party of 4) arrive from US to IST and connect to BJV. Flying Turkish J (ticketed by AV), on a single ticket. Scheduled connection time is 90 mins. Real connection time is between 45 mins to 75 mins (based on current arrivals average). Few questions:
- how realistic for J pax to connect in ~60 mins from international to domestic flight?
- how long is the actual walk from international arrivals to domestic departures?
- do J pax get fast track passes in IST? Does fast track cover immigration and security?
- do you suggest to hire a buggy? if so, I do not see a service connecting international to domestic, only intl or domestic.
