They are using the 6 slots, thats the whole point of this thread.

The pent up demand of US NRIs/PIOs flying home to see friends and family between Thanksgiving and new years eve will fill AIs B777 flights to/from US & CA, especially since the US & CA airlines can't fly over Russia.

The B787 fleet doesn't fly that far and mainly does Europe with a little bit of SIN/NRT/HKG/SYD.
