I currently have JAL biz class flight (arriving 17:25) to HND and purchased a Thai International Airways to BKK flight the next day - did not realize the visa restrictions at the time. Is there any hope of JAL forwarding checked baggage to another carrier so we wont have to pass through immigration (US citizen here)? Have tried asking JAL but have been on hold for over 2 hours - can't seem to get through. Another alternative would be I could purchase a JAL ticket to get me out of Tokyo - but that would leave very early the next morning - not sure if that is permitted under current restrictions. Any help is much appreciated here.
