To the gentleman above (sorry, not sure how to reply from a mobile browser), since it sounds like air fares here can be purchased at good rates without any tricks, does it pay to spend (a lot of) time building that strike list? Has any pros here attempted/proven through multiple successful executions that it’s able and equally attractive to FD in this region?

Some of my friends who used to fly to C3se ended up buying a one way ticket (often using their airline points) and then buy roundtrip fares from C3se to C1 with LOOOOONG time until return to Asia. This of course requires some good planning
