the quality of current single tray service has got nothing to do with crew numbers, there is ZERO correlation between the quality / quantity of meals on a one tray service and the number of cabin crew as been discussed numerous times on various threads.

we all know this is just a sad excuse to mask / hide the real truth of cost cutting decision being made for CW catering….you are still reheating the exact same number of mains, nothing changes in terms of crew time being spent prepping meals in the galley….just because the individual items on the tray has gone up in size does not mean it translates into longer prep time in the galley, bit sad if BA expects that we are stupid enough to believe this excuse so we all need to stop buying into the BA sorry state BS that not having enough crew gives them an excuse to deliver such a sad meal quality.

It is 100% possible to load bigger quantity (and better) mains/appetiser/desserts on a single tray service just have a look at other airlines for example even EK premium economy meals looks way better than BA’s CW meal

so it all comes down to whether BA is ready to stop being cheap as hell and start paying a little bit more to improve the catering standards in CW…this has got NOTHING to do with crew numbers at all. It is a known fact that some CW desserts have been featured in the past on other airlines Y class meal (i.e QR) so we all know that BA has chosen the cheapest pile from the Do&Co dessert catalogue.
