Hello all - I'm trying to use Bonvoy points to book a hotel room that's part of a block for a wedding in Michigan next summer. Upon performing a search for the hotel with the block through Mariott's website, no rooms are available to book with points at this time, but I've verified through the group's special room block link that it's possible to book a room with dollars. Wondering if this is just because the points search isn't recognizing that I'm part of the block reserved.

Does anyone have experience using points to book a room that's part of a block? Do I just need to give customer service a call? Reached out through their customer service inquiry channel online so far.
