POUG are BA metal and BA marketed only. AUP can be BA metal but not necessarily BA marketed.
AA have their own system so if you are on AA metal none of this or the AUP thread applies. It is open to BA members, but you probably will not get the higher TP earning from the upgrade. Upgrades would be offered via the AA App, and their AUP at the airport kiosks. More details in the AA forum.
