Rich: we European EC member do feel the negative impact (about 75 % less miles for Discount Economy, skyrocketing award levels for premium travel to some regions - i.e. U.S. East Coast and Oz - and the withdrawal of the 20 % low season award discount).

Consequence: as long as Concorde is in service we will post miles for flying her as well as FC to BA EC as we get actually more than prior to July 1st but all Discount Economy travel will be yet posted to Asia Miles (as this at least is good for half of actual mileage).
All of us cashed in our BA awards prior to July 1st to secure the lower levels and off peak discounts.
Once Concorde is history we will say goodbye to BA and switch asia business to CX and SQ and atlantic business to LH/OS/Mapleflot.

This is sad, bc with Concorde BA is a superb airline. Without the speedbird, they can be happy to be amongst the top dozen.
