I have to say that I don't think that it was clear that I was applying for a voucher, I am absolutely positive that I selected the 'refund' option and in fact, one of the customer service guys I have spoken to admitted that the website had been a bit ambiguous at that time. It is only in the last year that I read the T&Cs and discovered the 'book with confidence policy' where it stated that a refund could be issued if the booking was cancelled within 24 hours. I feel that I have been shafted because the website was inadequate at the time and gave me a voucher wrongly and that (because of the 24 hours) they should retrospectively refund me. Don't I have a legal case here?
