Yeah you would only get it on the base, not the taxes.
Also I accidentally put in the Marriott Gold bonus instead of Hilton, whoops, so my math was off by about 6,000 points, your Gold bonus is correct.
The 5th night free for a late check out is a great deal. I am doing that during a trip to MD coming up. Booked 5 nights even though I will only sleep for 4. It basically gave me a 7pm late check out for free. The extra night doesn't hurt.
