AA Flights on Jetblue metal and oneworld status
Hi all,
I am used to flying on AA domestic USA flights booked as AA flights and using oneworld sapphire status from another oneworld airline to get checked bags, seat selection etc...
For an upcoming AA flight JFK-SFO main cabin I noticed now it is Jetblue operated. Will I need to pay for bags and be allowed carryon (given that some Jetblue fares do not allow carry-on?)
I also noticed that despite adding my oneworld sapphire number to the AA booking, the seat selection on Jetblue website for this booking won't allow for much in terms of free seat selection. Any way around this? If not I am considering changing my flight to earlier AA metal despite current higher costs.
Thanks
