UPDATE

The handling agent I most commonly deal with, CFS at CPH (who handle Ryanair and easyJet), they've finally learnt! Having repeatedly pressed the matter with a couple of their duty managers (in particular one) as well as complaining to the UK Home Office that there's a missing link in the communication chain, I was told this Saturday by my main CFS "source" that they'd received an urgent alert directly from the UK Home Office (i.e. without the involvement of Ryanair/easyJet) telling them to board any and all pax with an EEA/Swiss ID card.

So it's now safe to fly passport-free (without having to prove eligibility) with Ryanair/easyJet from CPH to the UK. On the other hand, the other handling agents at CPH are none the wiser still, so the Home Office seemingly hasn't sent the alert to the entire industry (why!?).

So a small step in the right direction, and as I'm soon going to Spain, my next "target" is Azul Handling, who handle Ryanair at most Spanish airports.
