Not sure how to get it accomplished or how to phrase it without it taking more time than the actual flight. The whole re-do as done via the web team, so here is how it was orginally worded:
"On the SFO to SEA leg, shouldn't it read something along the lines of X class confirmed, I class requested?"
"For your inbound flight, only the long haul is on Business Class while the domestic flight is on Economy as it was originally booked."
I made no reference of an upgrade, just how those waitlist requests read.

I'm not sure what rational argument there is to get I on the SFO-SEA leg. Had I been routed through EWR instead I could have....I mean EWR is only half way home, but not SFO. UA just does not do North American I space.
