Bar recommendation in Downtown Crossing / Beacon Hill
We don’t get a lot of traffic on this board but I’m hoping someone has a good recommendation.

I arrive at Logan at 3:30pm on Thursday and have dinner reservations that evening at No. 9 Park. I’m looking for a bar to go to with my friend before dinner that’s walkable to No. 9 Park (i.e., on State St. right next to the state house). I usually go to JM Curley in that area, which I’m fine with, but I’m curious whether anyone has any other recommendations. (Please do not say Cheers! But maybe some other recommendations on Charles St.!)
