We (three of us) have a trip this coming Thanksgiving. Originally, it was CDG-VIE-ORD-SEA. Most of that was on OS in J except for the ORD-SEA segment being in X. Schedule changes/flight removal made this route not work at all, so I had to contact UA. We are now routed CDG-SFO-SEA. When I inquired about waitlist for I on the final leg to SEA I got back that since the original trip had a final leg in X they couldn't waitlist it. Seems incorrect, but not sure if it is even worth fighting over. Not sure all three would clear even on Thanksgiving.
