Would love to hear more detail here because as a non-employee I am not aware of where the bounds around each IT system are drawn, but I wasn't referring to OnQ, which I know of in the context of being a front-of-house / POS CRM system, catching the reservation. I wasn't saying that reservations would be linked on-property (as I noted that the poster needed to push for this manually), but rather would be treated as contiguous when it came time to award points / stays.
My understanding was that there was a sweep on the back end that would catch consecutive nights at a given property when it came time to award points / stays, and would merge those stays for that purpose. I presumed that this was not OnQ, but another platform. If this is not the case, though, then that would be interesting, as it would run against many years of "tribal knowledge" that for the purposes of status, stay-based promos, etc. one had to engage in hotel switching to maximize stay credits (instead of booking multiple one-night stays at a given property).
