My experiences at the Edinburgh and Aberdeen Marriotts were worse. Both of the hotels seem even more dated, especially Aberdeen. The Edinburgh Marriott at least has a larger gym / health club, but it sometimes is filled with non-guests because locals are allowed to buy memberships.
