Just wrapped up my second stay at the JW Marriott Singapore and wanted to share some updates and additional data points (full review from my first stay here).

Service was much warmer this time around. The front desk agent recognized me from my previous stay and greeted me by name as soon as I walked in (before I said anything), which genuinely impressed me and is something I'd only previously experienced at a handful of hotels where I had far more previous stays. I got a similar welcome from most of the staff at the lounge. Even the service at the restaurant was better, though still below the standard of the rest of the hotel. Housekeeping, as before, was excellent despite the seemingly unavoidable turndown service.

I got to try two different room types on this stay, including an elusive suite upgrade. For the first few days I was in a Premier King - Marina Bay View room, which unless you're on one of the top floors of the hotel would be better described as a CBD view. This room was noticeably smaller than the "Premier King - Larger Guest Room" I had last time but was generally comfortable and also very quiet. A few days in I got to move to a Junior Suite. It's been stated elsewhere in this thread that the suites are popular with families, and I can definitely see why. Rather than a single large space, the suite consisted of multiple small rooms connected by long hallways. Individual spaces within the suite are cramped, but the layout provides a level of separation that I would probably appreciate if traveling with children.

This time I remembered to ask about the second pool on 6F, and confirmed that it had reopened. I didn't have time to visit it myself, but I could see it from my window. I also ran a speed test on the wifi, and got about 28 Mbps down and 15 Mbps up. Not exactly fast, but more than adequate for streaming and productivity. It performed consistently throughout my stay.

Premier Marina Bay View room entry hallway was relatively short, making the room feel a little less private.

Room itself was a bit tight, but still very comfortable.

Another view.

Bathroom mirror could be slid to the side to see into the room (not terribly practical).

Interesting choice for a desk chair, but turned out to be pretty comfortable.

Marina Bay view, top left corner.

Suite living room.

Tight spaces - distance between living room sofa and coffee table.

Interior hallway to bedroom, lined with wet bar room and main bathroom.

Bathroom view, quite nice until I realized the blinds were broken and wouldn't close.

Suite bedroom.

6F pool, viewed from high above.
