Hi, I have placed a hold on 2 x tickets in J to fly Vienna - Taipei on BR66 on 10th October then straight on to Brisbane on BR315. Scheduled connection time is 2h40m. That seems plenty, but if we do miss the connection, it also looks like a long wait until the next flight to Brisbane. Would Eva hold the flight to Brisbane for delays on inbound flights with connecting passengers ? Is there much risk in practice of not making this connection ? What happens if we end up stuck in Taipei for a day or more ?

The price is so much better than most options from Europe to Australia, and I hear only good things about the onboard experience with Eva Air, so I really want this to work. Thanks for your help
