On SIN-SFO flight now, and the seat 9L is good. No galley light insight. Bathroom smell does come through each time it is being used. Don’t care for the bathroom flush noise and foot traffic. If other odd number is available, I will likely to skip 9L in the future.

9A is my favorite seat on the 787-9.

Yes, not much different from the 773 but not the 772. 9A and 9L on the 772 are noisy and the placement of the seats are further forward than 9 D/G, so you are almost parallel to the closet doors, and are very close to the galley and galley lights and closet noise are more obvious than 773/789. I typically skip 9A/9L on the 772.
