I too like Conrad but just as you stated they aren’t all equal as Hilton tries to
expand the brand name to more properties
My memory of the Downtown property is that it was better but I haven't been there in years.
Having the Conrad name helps them command a premium on revenue or award
Agreed the point Rates seem out of whack. If you lower your expectations on brand standard by 30% its an ok decent hotel.
Was in 4 different hotels over the past 10 days and my favorite was Andaz 5th Avenue and the InterContinental Times Sqaure.
Though the Andaz was nicest however double the price
For 200 dollars the Intercon knocked it out of the ball park
Fruit bowl on arrival bottled Fiji water daily, killer room upgrade and view free breakfast that was very good and late check out and a 20 dollar credit per stay
I also used 29000 points for my last night making it hands down the best redemption of the year in NYC.Dynamic pricing isn’t a bad thing all of the time
The IHG program has improved and their 4th night free on award nights with their credit card rocks
