Airlines mess up delivering published benefits all the time. Case in point, how often do non-priority bags appear on the baggage carousel before those carrying priority tags? The fact that the airline messes up the delivery of a published benefit doesn’t excuse inappropriate behaviour, specifically queue-jumping in this case.
