First off, presuming you mean the "JWMM" - the Marquis, in the same building - not the regular JWM which is on Brickell Ave and is, by all accounts, a lesser property. That being said, I've seen this price behavior happen before. The JWMM name is more broadly known, and they often get very large group bookings, resulting in sell-outs or higher rates. If you like the BA (not everyone does, given the unique design aesthetic), then it's certainly a win.
