Mutatis mutandis, I would book with DL because of reliability and MQD, but if it is a really good deal, ITA [snipped here and there].
That's the real problem for me - getting things fixed if there's a problem. If I book ITA through DL and there's a problem, would DL fix the problem (for example, rebook onto a DL flight)? The other things you and others note are things I can easily cope with for a few hundred dollar price difference.
