Just wrapped up a two-night award stay (Explorist).
Overall a delightful experience. One miss was that after arriving quite early to drop our bags, hotel failed to email us (or respond to my email inquiry) that room was ready. When we did come back close to 3 pm, keys were ready and it was evident that room had been available for some time (our bags were in the room already).
Room finishes were great and our room, a twin on the 4th floor had plenty of light and seemed spacious enough--I don't know if the room was an upgrade, as staff never mentioned it, and I forgot to ask. Bathroom was fantastic. Had drinks in the bar, which was quite nice, but still hanging on to some COVID precautions (minimal seating at bar counter, QR code menus) that have largely disappeared in London.
We slept through hotel breakfast hours and found nearby options limited--a nearby branch of the wildly overpriced tourist trap Concerto Cafe and Pret a Manger. There were several pubs/restaurants close by that seemed appetizing but were not open at the (late) hour we needed to eat.
Overall, I'd be inclined to return given the chance.
