I'm a Hilton Diamond so I was told I'm eligible for the buffet. Hopefully, that is correct and that I won't have to pay a surcharge to get hot food. In North America, most of the Hiltons I've been to only provide a continental breakfast for free while charging extra for a hot breakfast. That was true in the US until the F&B credit came into effect last year.
I first went to Singapore just shortly after graduating from university. I'm trying to learn and go to eat where all the locals go. When I was a poor university graduate, I use to go to Ya Kun for the kaya toasts. I still go from time to time, but I haven't for any of the my trips to Singapore this year. I'll try to go when I get back to Singapore in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for the suggestion and I'll be sure to take a look. I know how hot Singapore's weather is and I don't know if I can ever get use to it, but it's all part of the experience!
