I called Lufthansa helpline to reserve an infant bassinet seat in the economy class. Telephone support mentioned that system is not allowing them to block the bassinet seat and asked to check with airline staff at the airport on the day of travelling
I read in few forums that row 43 A, D, H, K are with bassinet .
Any information why call centre is unable to block it ? Have they removed bassinets recently? is there any other channels would be able to block the ticket? Is it safe to assume we would be allocated a bassinet at the airport ?
Try calling the German number during German business hours. When offered language selection, press one for German. The person who answers will be happy to speak to you in English and will be much more likely to be helpful.
