Have a 6 night stay booked beginning of October--very excited about experiencing this resort. Great rate, too, buy 2 nights, get third free, used suite upgrade. My adult daughter may come with, not certain yet. We are looking forward to the nature vibe and doing local (guided) excursions. Would I be foolish to change this stay to one of the all inclusives in the same area, given the carrot Hyatt has dangled with double nights promo for AI? Not interested in the town of Playa del Carmen or Cozumel--been there, done that.
It is going to be a stretch for me to get to 60 nights (for milestone awards). Not big alcohol drinkers, maybe a couple a day, decent food but doesn't have to be high-end. Up until now, I have never considered an AI. Looks like various AI's would be about double the price but that, of course, includes food and drinks.
