Agreed. Longhaul out of PDX just doesn't make a lot of sense for an airline with a hub in SEA. The distance is so short that DL could practically tie a big bungee cord between two trees and launch PDX passengers up to SEA-TAC.
I'd pay more for that than a nonstop!
