I happened to be visiting a friend in MIA a few days after AA191. Her condo overlooked the airport. All DC10s were grounded to inspect the engine bolts. I remember a dozen or so planes packed together on the east side of the airport.
At that time I was interning at a law firm in a tower in Boston's financial district. You could look across Boston Harbor and see a big bunch of grounded AA and UA DC-10s parked by the water. They were there for many weeks as I recall.
