Seems fair though - to let others who want the seat and have the miles get the chance of booking it first.
Thank you for the insight... I have most of the miles in the account already.... sounds like I should top it up if it looks like there is some availability in the days prior to my targeted dates in order to be prepared to jump on any awards once my dates come into the reservations window
