Hi!

I booked a round trip sale fare that I ended up not being able to take. Before the flight departed, I was able to change it to an open ticket because booked in April and the original flight was for August.

That said, I don’t really even want to take this route anymore. Is there some way I can get this refunded? Or if I do have to take this route, what’s the best way to minimise any additional fees I’d have to pay?

Some thoughts I had: currently TK is running lower frequencies on one leg of the route, but are selling other currently unoperated frequencies on other dates. Could I change to one of these dates, bank on TK cancelling that leg, and getting my whole ticket refunded?

If not, is there a way I could perhaps leave from another city in the same region? The flexibility rights page implies this for partially used tickets: https://www.turkishairlines.com/ja-j...exible-change/
