Just received Marriott Gold status and would like to status match with National. However, not sure if I should wait to status match until Jan 1, 2023 (so my National Executive Elite status lasts until Dec 2024) or I can status match now and then again in Jan 2024 when my National status expires. I doubt I'll be able to maintain the National status organically.

If National only allows status match once per lifetime, then I'll wait. If they allow frequent status matches, then I may as well status match now.

Does anyone have any info?
