There's nothing wrong with the app or the website. Those prices are all correct. If you want to quibble, there might be something wrong with the fares -- but probably not, frankly. UA doesn't want to sell you that ticket. NRT is further from HNL than GUM is, so UA doesn't really want to send you there.
UA has zeroed out inventory on that route when sold as a combination. That's causing it to insert a fare break, and there seems to be some sort of combinability rule on the HNL-NRT Y fare that makes it not combine with NRT-GUM Y and is forcing you in to J.
