Booked our room at the lowest point rate (80k/night), as lifetime diamond was upgraded to top (15th) floor suite with unobstructed Hudson River view without asking. It appears that there are only 3 rooms on each floor with unobstructed views.
This was one of the best upgrades we have experienced in 40 years of Hilton travels.
This is a beautiful contemporary hotel, so it's loaded with light colored wood and sharp corners and angles. And dark corridors and a dimly lit shower.

A few measurements:
The premium WiFi is 15Mbps down/19 up. Ping is 2ms. Adequate, but really not premium.

The minimum temp setting on the A/C is 65 degrees, which actually yields 67-68 degrees. Comfortable sleep temperature for us, so no need to hack the thermostat.

The shower huge and is an overhead + hand held type. The water volume is massive and provides a memorable experience. Reminds me of the best hotel shower ever, the Prince Hotel in Waikiki in the 1980s - a huge waterfall of warm water. We have not stayed at the Prince recently but I doubt this shower would be legal now.

The TV returns to the Hilton page after shutoff so your go-to channel must be reselected each time you turn on the TV.

TVs are mounted to the wall so only the parlor TV has access to an HDMI port, located on a remote panel beneath the TV. If you want to use your Firestick or Roku in the bedroom, you can't.

A few observations:
- it took 3 requests to get a refrigerator placed in our room. On the third, it was delivered within 5 minutes. Not Conrad-like, but resolved easily.
- the maids have a penchant for pulling out USB cables and winding them up and for rearranging everything on the bathroom sink. Please don't.
- like every Conrad we have patronized, and unlike many Hilton brand properties, you do NOT have to play "hide the extra washcloth" from the maids. Here there are ample towels and washcloths, replenished twice a day
- just like NYC, where everybody is walking fast and purposely, the 4 elevators here are spaced widely apart and the doors only remain open for about 5 seconds. You gotta hustle to board.
- the thing in the closet above the coffeemaker is a filtered water dispenser. Ours has refilled 315 bottles since new. Never seen this before in any hotel room and don't see any drain for splashes or leaky bottles.
