When you pre-pay 6 months, you don't have to pay any initiation fee and they included my family at no additional costs. My adult kids or my parents can use the pass on their own without me having to accompany them. They also gave me two guest passes so I can give trips away to friends. (Still counts towards my pass)
I played with the website for a month before signing up. I kept searching for trips during that time. I made sure that the trips I saw before I became a member will still be the same once I join. They are. When I search now, sometimes I'm not even signed in and it makes no difference. I have been taking friends and family along and they can not believe the value. My mom kept saying it was too good to be true. It's too good to be true but it still is. I have the memories and the photos to prove it. You can easily get a 4 bedroom house for 3-4 nights with an infinity pool in the Caribbean for 10 pass days. That works out to about $800. Also, there are NO Taxes, NO Resort Fees, etc.
Don't join if you work a 9-5, M-F job. Don't join if there is one place you want to go and you aren't flexible. Join if you are retired or can work remotely. Every Inspirato property is amazing. Search the website for yourself and see....

I joined in December 2020, and after four months got a second pass (April 2021) and have had 2 passes now for a year and a half). It takes some time to understand the program for sure... but if you can understand the complex frequent flyer world, you can understand this. I have had a similar experience as Darren. I had friends and family tell me that there is NO way it would be worth it, that there is no way that it would work as they said it would, etc. You DO have to be flexible and to get the best values you literally have to be available to travel in the next 10 days and be willing to go anywhere - but if you can do that, you will find an amazing situation. We just got back from a stay in the Caribbean at a three bedroom villa within a larger resort - cost about $1,200 for our stay - retail would have been almost $30K.
