New to FlyerTalk, but I am waitlisted for a redemption booking from MLE to SEA for Sep 5 and was wondering what I can do to either expediate or increase the chances of my seats being confirmed? I've called multiple times and tried to reason with the CSRs that I need to get my booking confirmed and they've all provided the same scripted answer of there being no more available award seats on my flights. Welcome to FT! At this stage, your chances of having a Sep 5 waitlisted flight confirmed is very slim. CSRs are only capable of providing scripted answers, they don't do chasers anymore for the vast majority of KF members. I won't be surprised that you'd receive a system triggered rejection email 2 weeks prior to departure. If you really must travel, you should start making alternative arrangements.
