This is a legitimate issue. On board service is advertised but not provided on SH routes with no WiFi.
One example would be yesterday morning on a A320N which had no Wifi, would have liked to have ordered something to eat but was unable to.
Being able to order things isn’t a privilege when travelling, often it may be the only opportunity for you to get food that morning/evening. If on board service isn’t advertised then fair enough, but when it is there is no excuse.
