Long time lurker, just joined to share something finally.....
Just wanted to ask if anyone got a similar email today. It is a legitimate email, from '
[email protected]'; stating my flight to Paris from Miami had been cancelled for my dates, etc... I logged into AF blue, all good, logged into DELTA (booked through them), all good, this was a good 3 hours AFTER I received the email.
So, I did take the initiative to call Delta first....they said all was in order-by the way, hold wasn't too bad....20 minutes or so, THEY put me on hold and called AF and came back and said, NO, everything is fine. I THEN, went to both Delta,AF websites, and google flights and it was still allowing people to book the same exact flights-I almost booked another one...lol??
I then said, what the heck, and called Air France (again, hold not too bad-20 minutes or so), first talking to a BLUE representative and THEN to NORMAL reservations representative, both very helpful....who said, there was NOTHING WRONG WITH MY TICKET or my FLIGHTS? I was still ALL CONFIRMED and READY TO GO.....They even re-emailed me my itinerary FROM Air France to CONFIRM that all was good.....supervisor from AF came on and said, they will investigate because this seems like an error email...and verified that it was indeed the normal email address from AF/KLM....(I've received from that email before in the past, but just double checked...), but that my flight was still GTG....
Anyone else get an email like this? AND more specifically, is the email correct and the representatives wrong? lol
