I see now there's been somewhat of a devaluation now anyway, and 360 are required from Paris - rather than the 150 it used to be. Y or M was typically not a problem, but the number of points required now makes it a moot point - even PE now requires 200.
A couple of trips out in Y and back in J used to be enough to upgrade the next economy flight out, looks like that game is over
