I would have thought that SN will be in OW sooner rather than later. In addition to the very good service and genuinely pleasant staff, they retain a good network to Africa dating from Sabena days (which are the only long haul flights they now have). You see quite a lot of passengers on the BA flights from London who are transferring on to places like Accra, Entebbe and Kigali. I would expect they also pick up some traffic from JFK and ORD with AA.
