Don't know which of many threads to post this in, but this thread looks promising.

Called BA this afternoon (Sunday) about 3pm EDT, no wait for an agent. Booked the two tickets I wanted, got almost the exact itinerary (first choice outbound was unavailable on website, second choice was open on web but not actually available, third choice was just fine).

Kudos to BA for (a) not cutting way back on inventory in anticipation of the rush, and (b) not just staffing appropriately but actually opening for two days when they should have been closed. I can't imagine any northern-North-American airlines doing either of those customer friendly things!

And one question, my points were immediately removed from my account and I was immediately able to see my booking through "Travel Bookings". But I don't have seats assigned it doesn't say what cabin I'm in. Is this normal? (It's First, but we didn't discuss seats).
