I did some comparisons for friends in Asia and US and it's not really that much cheaper.... except when the exchange rate is favorable. You don't get much of the VAT back if you shop duty free either. I'd say you could get more by getting part of the 18-21% of EU VAT back by buying in a EUR country (depending on what your home currency is at the moment).

You can easily get the prices for big brands on Bucherer's website. Most resellers will have more or less the same prices.
