And it's close to most of the places, around 5min rides to airport (hotel provide free shuttle), 15 min to Prambanan temple, 15min to town.
I stayed at the Sheraton back in April and was upgraded from a regular King room to a Club Lounge room, which looked pretty new. The hotel and especially the breakfast were great, I did not have access to the lounge however. I also liked the architecture of the hotel with the open lobby and the rooms opening up underneath.
With the Sheraton being almost half the price it wasn't worth it for me to switch to the Marriott. Judging from the pictures in this thread the Marriott in general looks newer however and is also connected to Hartono Mall, whereas you have to take a car to get anywhere from the Sheraton.
For airport shuttle keep in mind that Adisutjipto airport was replaced by Yogyakarta International, which is a 40 min train ride southwest of Yogyakarta.
