The linked press release is about winglets but it has been widely reported interior mods are happening too. Many of the 738s are darn tired.
I'm not sure why they have let the 738 fleet go so long without cabin refits. The 738 fleet is significantly younger than the A320 fleet. So they'll be around for quite a while longer.
