Qantas had nice food for breakfast — excellent Bircher muesli. I wasn’t as impressed by the coffee as many people had said (not the quality of a drink made by an excellent barista at a cafe, but an okay cappuccino) but it is made to order rather than from a push button machine.

The view from Cathay’s lounge is much better and the ambience seems more relaxing.

Was at Qantas too early in the morning to want to try the gin cocktails but would love to come back for that in future one day soon.
